I think...What a great score! Sorry I missed that!

I think the biggest issue, with buildings that pre-date the ADA act is that the cost of upgrading far outweighs the benefits, when you look at the number of people who need the access versus those who don't. I'm pretty sure all public/government buildings have to be upgraded, regardless of the age of the building but unfortunately, private buildings (I assume you were talking about a private school?) don't have to follow the mandate. I imagine that if the school had a student or teacher that needed access, then there would be more incentive to upgrade.Nancy Cavilloneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15084878556016753893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4675590510792979183.post-32640686612601674462011-03-04T16:00:23.055-05:002011-03-04T16:00:23.055-05:00Okay, you seriously, seriously scored with those b...Okay, you seriously, seriously scored with those books! Great choices! Sorry to hear about the access issues. You should read Dave Hingsburger's blog, Rolling Around in My Head - he's in a wheelchair, and always blogs about access (or lack of), as well as other disability-related topics.Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14963099760885760598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4675590510792979183.post-71923071284898805752011-03-04T16:00:07.877-05:002011-03-04T16:00:07.877-05:00how wonderful!!! books are totally worth their wei...how wonderful!!! books are totally worth their weight in gold!grandmanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4675590510792979183.post-67576133478618960552011-03-04T15:19:05.412-05:002011-03-04T15:19:05.412-05:00We love Boynton books! We love Boynton books!Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07402232953182372228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4675590510792979183.post-12392892449111076202011-03-04T14:26:29.451-05:002011-03-04T14:26:29.451-05:00WOW, what a steal you got!
