I think it really highlights the type of learning and ownership of a device that can only happen when kids have time to explore. Today we can see that laptops remain despite everything, thanks to the fact that their technical configurations have evolved considerably, in addition to one of the advantages such as battery life in tablets, was becoming smaller next to the batteries of the portable PCs because these increased the autonomy time, and the touch screen was not a problem either, the 2 in 1 convertible laptops have managed to demonstrate their efficiency.Los mejores Portátileshttps://blogs.eltiempo.com/detodounpoco/2020/02/17/ultimas-tendencias-en-computadores-portatiles/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4675590510792979183.post-15088618628020814712021-11-03T08:44:57.724-04:002021-11-03T08:44:57.724-04:00Thanks for such a great post and it will kids and ...Thanks for such a great post and it will kids and also their parents. you can check iPad mini car mount Bennys Tech Barhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03720441763879119653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4675590510792979183.post-51140659918082961302014-08-18T10:01:17.335-04:002014-08-18T10:01:17.335-04:00It really irks me when people automatically refer ...It really irks me when people automatically refer to repetitive language as "stimming" especially on an AAC device. Stimming does happen, but I think oftentimes it's much better described as exploring. Reading you describe Will pressing buttons on the talker in his crib sounds EXACTLY like what my typically developing 24-month old does in his crib--he talks to himself all the time and I don't call it stimming! All AAC users should be allowed to explore as you've described in the way that verbal communicators are allowed to play with sounds and words however and whenever they want to.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4675590510792979183.post-46903819271964120022014-08-14T02:19:05.982-04:002014-08-14T02:19:05.982-04:00this is awesome. i love that you have allowed will...this is awesome. i love that you have allowed will to explore life like his big sister does instead of hoping she would follow him. this gives me some ideas. wish I have thought about this sooner!Ericahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17851509745425295624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4675590510792979183.post-35128808219535874572014-08-13T14:31:19.297-04:002014-08-13T14:31:19.297-04:00Thanks for the post. Language is play, objects are play, exploration is play. Sometimes the poorest results are when I try to get my youngest to stop "playing around" and focus. There is a distinct lack of creativity there. When I hear him just talking to himself- magical things happen.

PS- Were those accelerated classes SLP prerequisites?John McCarthyhttp://sayitanywayou.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4675590510792979183.post-75079190112736158262014-08-11T23:44:11.477-04:002014-08-11T23:44:11.477-04:00So true!! Although our kids need some modeling and direction in many ways, they are often capable of teaching themselves SO much, if we just get out of their way. Thank you for this powerful reminder to foster independence by pushing our kids to explore the world on their own! I hope your foot gets better!!Elise (Kids Included Together)http://blog.kitonline.orgnoreply@blogger.com
